The Recognition Shift Begins

The move by TharpeRobbins to become Engage2Excel is a matter of great personal satisfaction: this is the shift we have predicted in the recognition marketplace. (See ESM news story for details.) Because this is one of the oldest recognition companies and is a major player in the marketplace, we know this move will get the attention of its competitors who have come out of products or technology. Engage2Excel’s approach undoubtedly comes from new CEO Phil Stewart’s background at Kenexa and his work with Jack Wiley, who is one of the early proponents of enterprise engagement (and who I overlooked in a recent blog post)Whether or not Engage2Excel can deliver on this vision is up to them, but the idea of marrying engagement surveys with “prescriptive” analytics and implementation based on return-on-investment measures is precisely the recipe we believe is necessary to meet the needs of the emerging engagement marketplace.
