More Positive Trends for the Enterprise Engagement Field

Engagement World

Two articles on the Engagement Strategies Media portal at Enterpriseengagement.org particularly got our attention. One notes that Glassdoor.com says Engagement Manager is now the fourth-hottest profession, with an average annual pay of $125,000. A lot of these jobs involve customer engagement at big companies, but many also involve human resources and community engagement. Just the fact that companies use the term “engagement” to describe these roles helps the cause.

The second equally interesting trend from our standpoint is the formation of a new organization designed to foster better communication across the C-Suite. According to the ESM article, one of the primary missions of the C-Suite Network is to help those in C-Suite positions work better together. Without this level of alignment, say the organization’s founders, it’s impossible to have an enterprise approach to engagement. That’s why the EEA is particularly pleased to be aligned with this organization in educating corporate America about this new field as a sponsor of this year’s Engagement World event in Orlando in April.
